Tustin, CA – March 1, 2008 – LightWorks Optics, Inc., the leading solutions partner for advanced integrated optical systems development, has opened a High-Volume Production (HVP) facility in Vista, California. The new 10,000 square-foot facility will provide the necessary space for the expansion of LightWorks' state-of-the-art diamond turning capability, assembly integration and testing.

This state-of-the-art facility, with highly-advanced engineering and technical support from the Tustin, California headquarters, will provide the capability and capacity for LightWorks to address the growing production demands of the space, defense and commercial optics markets. This new expansion will give LightWorks the ability to aggressively compete in the high-volume production of diamond-turned optical components and assemblies.
